Greater Downingtown BPW partnered with the Reactor Comedy Club for their first Comedy Night which was held on February 2, 2019.  The fundraiser raised $780.00 to benefit the Community, Youth and Women Alliance (CYWA of Coatesville). A check was presented to Board Members, Carmen Green and Melissa Lopez.

Wreaths Across America - Hopewell Cemetery took place on Saturday, December 15, 2018

Greater Downingtown BPW’s Quarter Raffle fundraiser on 10/21/18 was a great success. The host location was the VFW Post 106 Banquet Hall in West Chester, PA.   The fundraiser was for Mary Walker House and Gift of Life Foundation.  Greater Downingtown members created beautiful baskets to raffle as part of the fundraiser and special vendors participated in the Quarter Raffle.

Greater Downingtown BPW’s fundraiser on 5/19/18 was a great success. The host location was the Marie Corps League’s Bingo in Downingtown, PA.   The fundraiser was for David’s Drive 831, an organization that helps the homeless and hospitalized veterans.  Along with the bingo, Greater Downingtown members created baskets to raffle as part of the fundraiser.

Caln Community Day – Saturday, September 8, 2018

As part of their efforts to promote new members, Greater Downingtown BPW participated in the   Caln Township “Community Day” in Thorndale, PA on Saturday, 9/8/18.  This year marks Caln Township’s 150^th year Anniversary.
